The trail rises above Lantern Creek. All 4 lakes are close to one another. Would probably rate it as moderate. For this outing we chose Pickle Jar Lakes, an outing that should prove testing, but not be too much. Finished this hike in 3 hours and we agreed that we enjoyed the hike up more than the lakes themselves. Due the nature of the terrain and the sensitivity of the area, horse use is NOT suitable. Huge collection, amazing choice, 100+ million high quality, affordable RF and RM images. The hike up is worth the views from the top! Nice views all along the way.
